BENTONVILLE — Nell Carolyn Allen, 80, of Bentonville died March 28, 2009, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. She was born June 15, 1928, in Weaverville, N.C., to Francis Tarpley Pickens Jr. and Ruth Ray Pickens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Allen.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Allen and wife Margo of Bentonville, and Bob Allen and wife Heidi of St. Paul, Minn.; a daughter, Ginger Robison of Tequesta, Fla.; two brothers, Ray Pickens of Oklahoma City and Frank Pickens III of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Clemma Wilson of Cumming, Ga.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Bentonville First Assembly of God.
Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
