"This was the one we called an angel sister - too good for this world. She was loved by all who knew her. The tears ran down the cheeks of the Elders who spoke at her funeral. She was thought so much of in Sunday School and Day School as well. She died just a day or two after she had turned fifteen years of age with the typhoid fever in the Third Ward."
(Written by Dorothea 'Dora' S. Christensen or Sorensen, Kimball, sister)

"My sister Stine Christine died November the third in the year 1888 she was fifteen years and three days old when she died. She was a good and cheerful sister and we all miss her very much."
(Written by Peter W. Christensen, brother)
