Survivors include her son, Byron Cotton of Dickson; four daughters, Joyce Bizzell of College Grove, Elaine Beard of Cumberland Furnace, Carolyn Qualls of Dickson and Annette Davidson of Columbia; brother, Floyd Turner of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzel Cotton; son, Billy Cotton; two grandsons; and her parents, Isaac Turner and Octi Pearl Crouch Turner. Mrs. Cotton, born in Warren County, she was a homemaker and a member of West Dickson Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to Camp Leatherwood.
Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2004 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Harold Petty officiating. Graveside services were 1 p.m. from Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin.
