Kiel—Henry A Stueven, 78, of 323 S. Sixth Street, this city, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Thursday at his home following a lingering illness. Mr. Stueven was born Dec. 26, 1865, in Germany, and came to this country in 1876 and located in Town New Holstein. On July 23, 1907, he was married to Alma Eichmeier of New Holstein and following their marriage they resided on a farm in Town New Holstein and later on a farm in Town Schleswig. For the past eight years they made their home in this city.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Henrietta) Smasal of Town Schleswig; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Edward Domke of Forest Junction, Mrs. Louis Matter of Milwaukee, Mrs. Fred Rosenbauer of Town Schleswig, and Mrs. Julia Feld of Plymouth; a brother, Herman, of New Holstein.
Funeral services will be held at the Meiselwitz Funeral home here and at the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church here with the Rev. E. L. Worthman officiating. Burial will be made in the New Holstein City cemetery
