"EARLYWINE - George Washington Earlywine, who was born Aug. 5, 1801, fell dead while sitting in his chair Monday morning, Feb. 20, 1871. He was one of the first settlers of Indiana. He was living near Edinburg. He seemed perfectly well when, a few hours previously, I left him. A large circle of friends mourn their loss, both in the Church and out. He left a family of six children and one sister. He had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for nearly half a century. E.M.G."

Gravesite Details
A survey of the cemetery was done in 1960, at that time there was not a listing for George Earlywine. Many of the old stones are missing or are no longer able to be read. Also, many graves were unmarked. -- From Contributor #47618191.
