She was my Great Aunt, younger sister of Helen Kowalski Shea and wife of Charles ("Charlie") Doane.

A skilled homemaker and financial investor with an intrinsic, sharpened sense of fashion and style, she was quite fond of her great niece (my older sister); and lovingly spoiled her brindle Chihuahua, "Skipper."
