Mrs. George Potts

Mrs. Lucy Potts, 75, of 308 Ohio Ave., New Boston, died at 2:30 a.m. today at her residence.

She was born July 7, 1877, in Greenup County, a daughter of John and Rachael (Hall) Raike. She married George Potts, May 25, 1946.

Mrs. Potts was a member of Quincy Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband; a brother, Sam Raike of Quincy; six stepchildren, Mrs, Opal Montgomery, 3870 Stanton Ave., New Boston, Mrs. Cecil Pierce, 4246 1/2 Cedar st. New Boston, Mrs. Leota Clark, 3912 Stanton Ave., New Boston, Floyd Potts, 4336 Rhodes Ave., New Boston, Carlos Potts, 1801-C Wayne Ave., and Pfc. Dewey Potts, with the U. S. Army at Salina, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; four brothers, and two previous husbands.

The body may be viewed at the Sowards Funeral Home after 7 tonight

She married Jim Sanders, then George Gouly, then a Reynolds and finally George Potts.

Stepchildren were Opal Montgomery, Cecil Pience, Leota Clark and Floyd, Carlos & Duey Potts.
