He was the son of the late Harry C. and Ethel M. (Overlander) Eisensmith.
Mr. Eisensmith graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami in 1949. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant, was Partner at Philip R. Friedman and Associates, and was active in the York business community.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II and was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, an active member of the Jewish Community Center, and was a regular at the Colonial Coffee Shop.
He was the husband of the late Mary (Mays) Eisensmith and is survived by two sons, Randy C. Eisensmith and wife, Robin of Montvale, NJ, and Scott P. Eisensmith and wife, Pam of Haslett, MI; two daughters, Suzanne E. Rosenberger and husband, Jack of Harrisburg, and Laurie J. Eisensmith and husband, Brad Filippone of Flint Ridge, CA; and a sister, Vera Eckhart of York.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Holly E. Gladfelter; and a sister, Mae.
