Martha Ellen McKinney d/o of Charles McKinney and Angeline Swingle McKinney, she married Lt.John Murdoch Pratt M.D. they had two children, John Murdoch Pratt Jr. and Martha Janet Pratt. She met John in Medical School. Martha Ellen went on to became a Registered Nurse while John was a Medical Doctor. She died of Shell Fish poising on their return from the Philippine Islands. John was in the Calvary with the Army. He was stationed in Imperial Beach, CA at the time of her death.
