Delois was born August 20, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Frederick Miles Henthorn and Shirley Joann Ward.
She married Larry Tomas Jackson on July 26, 1958 in Sylmar, California. She graduated from Burbank High School in Burbank, California.
Mom had an incredibly strong spirit having overcome many challenges in her life including polio and breast cancer. She was fiercely loyal and deeply loved her family both immediate and extended.
She was a great optimist and loved to root for the underdog. She was quite the woman with a wonderful and quirky sense of humor. Most of all, mom was fun. "We love you mom and will miss you so much!"
She is survived by her husband, Larry; children: Leslie Diane (Charlie) Smith, Russell Jay (Miranda) Jackson, and Steven Bradley (Christie) Jackson, and 9 grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), where friends and family may call on Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
