MARTINEZ, Maria Consuelo
age 74 passed away March 18, 2009, in Lancaster. She was born July 23, 1934, in Nombre de Dios, Durango, Mexico and was a long time resident of Rosamond. She is survived by her husband Andres Martinez of Lancaster, one son and one daughter, John Martinez of Palmdale, Rosana and her husband Jerry Budd of Lancaster, one sister, Beatriz and her husband Marcos Palacios of Juarez, Mexico, her nephew Ruben Gonzales of Lancaster who was like a son, and numerous other nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2009, with a Vigil Prayer Service starting at 7 p.m., at Halley- Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Father Serra Parish Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery.
