Death of Wesley Franklin
West, McLennan Co., TX Dec 29--
Wesley Franklin, Aged 84 years, died last night at 3 o'clock. He will be buried at Gholson Cemetery tommorrow. Mr. Franklin was born in Lincoln County, Tenn., was married to Miss Eliza McCarver in 1850, in which year he came to Texas. His wife died a few months ago. Two daughters, Mrs. Marion Perry of West, and Mrs. J.E. McAden of Winters, Tex., and four sons, James, Tom and John, all of Winters, Tex., and Edwin of this city. Mr. Franklin was a highly respected citizen, and his death is mourned by a large number of people.
