STERGIOUS, George V.
born in Staten Island, NY. March 20, 1923. Passed into our Lords embrace March 5, 2009, in Lancaster, CA. with his wife by his side. A Hollywood photographer for over 30 years, he retired to his true passion as a ballroom dance instructor. He touched the lives of many, teaching at multiple senior centers. A born dancer, he performed on the Queen Mary in 1936. He was well known to many and will be greatly missed by both family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, children, Lorraine, Diane, George II, Marina, Frank, George III, and loving grandchildren. A visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, and laid to rest at 11am on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
