Mrs. Louise Woiczechowski Marks 90th Birthday On Thanksgiving Day
Thursday, November 25, (on Thanksgiving Day), marked the 90th birthday anniversary of Mrs. Louise Woiczechowski, who makes her home with her son, Henry, 793 Minerva street.
Open house was held throughout the day and a dinner was served at noon to the honor guest, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilker, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones, and son. A decorated birthday cake centered the table.
Mrs. Woiczechowski received many lovely gifts, bouquets, and nerly 100 one hundred birthday cards.
Mrs. Woiczechowski was born in West Prussia, Germany, and came to this country at the age of 21 settling with her husband Clough Quarries, west of town, where they resided a few years.
They then moved to Minerva street where she has resided the past 60 years.
Her husband, Fred Woiczechowski, passed away 47 years ago and her oldest daughter, Mrs. Augusta Lawrence, 25 years ago.
There are 5 children living' two sons, Henry, of Amherst, with whom she has resided the past 38 years; and Fred, Newport, R. I.; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Frederick, Amherst' Mrs. Jack Daly, Elyria; and Mrs. B. C. Burnett, San Bernadino, Calif. There are also 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mrs. Woiczechowski is a member of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church and at one time was a member of the Frauen Verein: (Ladies Aid Society), a forerunner of the present Women's Guild.

FUNERAL SERVICES ON WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. WOICZIKOWSKI -
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Woiczikowski, aged 93, who passed away last Sunday morning at the home of her son Henry G. Wilker, 793 Minerva street, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmerich funeral home. Rev. Jerome Wenner of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church officiated and burial took place in the Cleveland avenue cemetery.
Mrs. Woiczikowski was born in Germany, Nov. 25, 1858 and came to Amherst in 1882. She was a member of St. Peter's E. & R. church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. A. L. Frederick, Amherst, Mrs. J. A. Daly, Elyria, Mrs. B. C. Burnett, San Berndino, Calif.; two sons, Fred of Newport, R. I., and Henry G., Amherst, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Augusta Lawrence preceded her in death in 1923.
