Spencer L Adair, 86 of 1700 S 86th, Kansas City, Kansas, died yesterday at St Margaret Hospital [759 Vermont Ave]. He was born in Lawrence, Kansas and came to the Kansas City area as a child. Mr Adair retired in 1950 as a butcher for Cudahy where he had been employed 30 years. He leaves two sisters, Mrs Anna Mae Purtee of the home, and Mrs Ethel Anderson , 80 S 7th, Kansas City, Kansas. Services will be at 3 pm Friday at the Fulton-Nickel Chapel; burial in Stony Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 3 pm today.
