FINAL RITES HELD FOR YAMHILL MAN
Services for Roy Dowell, age 64 years, 4 months and 9 days, were held at McMinnville Funeral Home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J. Frank Cunningham, Newberg, officiating.
Mr. Dowell was born May 21, 1886 in Frankfort, Mo. In 1918, he was married to Blanche Lucille Dowell, surviving. A resident of rural Yamhill, Mr. Dowell was a farmer by occupation, and a member of the First Christian church of Newberg.
Survivors are his widow and two sons, Bobbie Dean, Yamhill, and Jack Cotts, Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. Alvin Powell, Yamhill, Mrs. Howard Johnson, Battle Creek, Mich., and Mrs. Ed Weir, Los Angeles; a brother, Herman Dowell, Penn., and a sister, Mrs. Maude Barnard, San Francisco.
Interment was in Evergreen Memorial park.
