According to the 5 Jan 1898 issue of the Lexington Gazette, page 2: "Among Mrs. McKee's descendants are 3 ministers named Laird and two, Rev. Harvey Gilmore and son. I know 10 elders of this connections, and there are probably more."
She is buried beside husband John Telford McKee. Her old marker still laying flat on the ground (where cows used to roam over it) says:
