Mabel A. Brose
Mabel A. Brose, age 96, of rural Wautoma, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Heartland House in Wautoma, where she resided since May of 2002. She was born in Neshkoro, Wisconsin on July 30, 1908 to Fred and Wilhelmina (Kottke) Muske. On November 30, 1933 she was united in marriage to Milo W. Brose. They farmed in the Township of Dakota for over fifty years and raised two children, a daughter Diane and a son, John. Her husband preceded her in death on June 14, 1993 after 59 years of marriage. Mabel was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Diane and Harlan Beutler, Coloma, WI., three grandchildren, Beth (Richard) Lind, Wausau, WI., Bonnie (Dean) Brix, Marshfield, WI., and Brenda Saeger, Stevens Point, WI. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Matthew and Clara Lind, Emily, Melissa, and Maria Brix, and Derek and Holly Saeger and other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, Mabel was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bruce Beutler, a grandson-in-law, Kevin Saeger, a sister, Irene Lietz and a brother, Harvey Muske.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wautoma with the Reverend Franklin H. Giebel officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota Cemetery, Town of Dakota.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
