On January 17, 1940, Valle Crucis, Watauga County, N.C., David Finley Mast, a widower, died at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 20 days.

In June 2009 I sent a request for a correction to the memorial of David Finley Mast which was never made (see text below). Would you please change the maiden name of his mother from Shull to Mast. As previously stated, she was the daughter of John and Susan (Harmon) Mast.
Also, I noticed that you added to his parents' memorials (Andrew B. Mast #35991282 and Caroline L. Mast #35991319) that "she may have been the same as Carolyn Shull Mast(?)." This information is erroneous and should be deleted.
