Death claimed James Lester Entrekin Tuesday afternoon at 5:20 o'clock, following an illness with pneumonia one week.
Young Entrekin, who was twenty years and two months of age, was born in Biloxi, where he was reared, having received his education in the Biloxi City schools, died just three days after the death of his mother, Mrs. Bonnie Muriel Anderson Entrekin, which occurred in Biloxi Saturday night at 9:15 o'clock.
He was indeed a model young man, having at all times been faithful to his church, his parents and friends.
He was an electrician by trade, having been a member of Biloxi Local No 365, but had been employed with L.N. Dantzler in Florida during the past winter season. He came home for a visit with his parents and contracted a cold from which pnuemonia developed..
His last words, having been conscious until the end, were
"Jesus came into my heart."
His sterling qualities as a young man won for him the admiration and friendship of all who knew him.
His father, James Entrekin, three sisters, Misses Irene, Nona, and Helen, and one brother Lee Entrekin survive..
The funeral was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the family residence, 207 West Second Street, services being under the auspices of the Methodist church, with interment in the Biloxi cemetery.
Young Entrekin was a member of the Latter Day Saints Church of this city..
