Mrs.Stephenson Dies Tuesday ;Rites In City
Mrs. Cynthia C. Stephenson, 79, of 112 N. Greenleaf St., will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Davis-Morris chapel.
Mrs. Stephenson died at 5 a.m. today at her home after a lengthy illness.
The Rev. J.T. Ayers and the Rev. Archie Phillips will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.
Born in Arkansas Nov. 28, 1881, she was a resident of Brownwood since she was two years of age. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband, John R. Stephenson Sr., died July 10, 1949.
Survivors are one son, John R. Stephenson Jr. of Brownwood; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Reeves of Eastland, and two grandchildren.
