George Hasken Bell

George H. Bell, 64, Humansville, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at his home.

He was born May 23, 1936, at Gainesville, the son of Henry and Pearl Hilesbeck Bell. A longtime resident of Humansville, he was a retired roofing contractor.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Cynthia Bell and Christine Libeer.

Survivors include his wife, Lola, of the home; four children, Michael Bell of Humansville, Karen Vasto of Troy, Texas, Eddie Brown of Bolivar and Connie Casey of Humansville; two sisters, Pauline Beard of Republic and Marie Miller of Richmond; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, Feb. 10, in Murray Chapel, Humansville, with the Rev. Joe Coppedge officiating. Pallbearers were Mike Sprowls, Bill LeAN, Buzz Baker, Bill Proctor, John Locke and C. W. Spice. Interment was in Humansville Cemetery.
