Mrs. Mattie Page Ambrose, 79, wife of the late Arthur L. Ambrose of Aynor died Monday at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm Wednesday at Aynor Methodist Church with interment in Aynor Cemetery.
Mrs. Ambrose was born in the Zion section of Horry County and Mary Jane Page of Horry County. Her husband died April 19 1942.
Surviving are six sons Jennings, Donald, William and Robert Ambrose of Aynor, Vernon Galivants Ferry, and Berry Ambrose, Lake Charles La; two daughters Mrs. John Sherrill, San Pedro, Calif and Mrs. George Perry, Livermore Falls, Maine, and two brothers Ed Page, Aynor and Cordie Page, Conway.
