After serving in the U.S. Navy, Mark lived and worked in Arizona, Oceanside, California and Temecula, California. He worked for AT&T for 40 years and had an avid interest in Harley Motorcycles. He also was a guitar-player musician, with a wide knowledge of vintage guitars and amplifiers. He is survived by his son, Kyle, sisters Linda Marcus, Kim Sisson and Melanie Ethier. He died of a heart attack at age 62.
