Company "K", 3rd West Virginia Infantry. Enlisted 4 July 1861; Discharged 16 Aug 1864.

Note: Enlisted in the Cival War 4 July 1861 at Hebron, W.V. Was in the 6th WV mounted infantry. Discharged at Wheeling, W.V. on Aug 18, 1864. At Bull Run, was captured by Fitz Hugh Lee's Command and sent to Libby Prison, where, at Belle Island, he was held a Prisoner for about 2 months, then Paroled.
