Mrs. Magdalena Behrens died this morning at 8:20 o'clock at her (blurred out) West Locust street after a long illness. Mrs. Behrens was born in Germany in 1841, and was 67 years of age at the time of her death. She was married to Carl Behrens in 1861 in Germany and they lived there till 1872, when they came to America and settled in Indiana, and later on, in 1874, they moved to Davenport and have made their home here since then. Mrs. Behrens is survived by four children, her husband having died in 1891(sic). The children are Andreas Behrens, and Louis Behrens, and Mrs. Ida Kimball and Mrs. Rose Topp. She is also survived by two brothers, H. J. and J. F. Paarmann of Davenport. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Topp, 734 West Seventeenth street. Interment will be in Oakdale cemetery
