My cousin, Joshua Wiley Blount III, told me the story of Henry Blount's death. Henry had collapsed in the field he was plowing and was discovered by some neighbors passing by in a wagon. The neighbors found Ellafair and brought her to the field where Henry was laying. Ellafair was so distraught at Henry's condition that she died in the field. Henry was brought home and as Josh wrote died 14 hours later."
