They became the parents of four known children: Annah, Jabez, Levi and Lydia Colvin. All but Jabez, who died in Rhode Island, removed to Vermont in the mid-1770s. Jeremiah and Ruth's son Levi, their grandson David Niles and two sons-in-law [Stukely Thornton and Thomas Pell] served in the Clarendon militia during the Revolutionary War.
