Bertha I. Beamer, 75, of 522 Bendersville-Wenksville Road, Aspers, died Saturday evening, July 14, at the Gettysburg Hospital.
She was born April 22,1915, in Adams County and resided here her entire life. She was the daughter of the late George and Phoebe Boose Chronister.
She had been a seasonal employee at the former C.H. Musselman Co., Pet Milk Inc., in Biglerville for a number of years. She attended the Centenary United Methodist Church of Biglerville.
She is survived by her husband, Percy R. Beamer to whom she was married for 55 years; three daughters, Myrna R. Breighner of Gardners, Sonja J. Brough of Aspers, and Victoria A. Baumgardener of Louisville, Ohio; one son, Gary E. "Bub" Beamer of Gettysburg; one brother, Charles Chronister of York Springs; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Dugan Funeral Home in Bendersville, with the Rev. Colin Shaffer officiating.
Interment will be in the Wenksville Cemetery.
