~*~*My Grandmother*~*~
Flo Carey was the third of 13 children born to Frederick Carey and Mary Barber Carey.
She married William Warren in 1922, and they had five sons:
Frederick (Ted) Warren (1924-1989)
Raymond Warren (1928-2008)
Albert Warren (1930-2010)
James Warren (1932 - 2007)
Ronald Warren (1934 - 2008)
William Warren passed away from complication due to pneumonia in 1934.
In 1937, Flo married Dr. John Ramey (1872-1942). She was an LPN and accompanied Dr. Ramey on all his rounds as his nurse and assistant until his death in 1942.
After Dr. Ramey's death, Flo moved with her children and her youngest sister Fay to Los Angeles.
She worked as an LPN, and after retirement volunteered as a "Pink Lady" for many years at the local hospital.

I had the privilege of living with her for about a year when I was 9. I count it as one of the best years of my life. She was very even tempered and so good to me. I think of her and miss her every day.
