Mrs. Melinda Catherine Sherman, wife of A.F. Sherman, died Thursday morning at 7.30 o'clock at her home in Carson valley of pneumonia, aged 65 years. She is survived by her husband and the following children: William A. Sherman, Mrs. Carrie Schall and Mrs. May Bowen, all of Cross Keys, and Franklin E. Sherman of Oregon; also the following brothers: Daniel Piper of Altoona and Silas and George of Duncansville. She was a faithful member of the Duncansville Lutheran church all her life. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Brethren church at Carson valley with interment in the Carson valley cemetery
