Mr. Clarence Ross Bowman, 99, died Monday, April 21, 2014 at Ambassador Health and Rehab in Wadesboro.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Shytle and Rev. Phillip Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
Clarence was born September 18, 1914 in Anson County, NC a son of the late John Robinson and Fannie May Flake Bowman. He was a life-long member of Bethel United Methodist Church and farmer in the Bethel Community. He also worked and retired from West Knitting Mills.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellie Baker Bowman, a daughter, Lois Eddins and his sisters and brother, Annie Beck Williams, Elsie Smith, Hattie Harris, Johnsie Ratliff, Gladys Bowman, Fannie Grace Lowery and Flake "Bud" Bowman.
