Rosa Lee Taylor Knight, 74 (b. 6 Jun 1928), passed away Thursday afternoon (10 Oct 2002) at the Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick.

A native and lifelong resident of Brantley County, she was a housewife and member of the Satilla Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Jim Taylor and Lou Sloan Taylor (Griner).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Knight, Jr., who passed away in 1990.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Floyd Holt of Hortense; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Joy Knight of Hortense, and Tommy and Rose Mary Knight of Waycross; two half sisters, Maxine Lee and Mildred Anderson, both of Hortense; a half brother, Ward Griner of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Jeannee Hedrick, Sheena Manibusan, Trent Knight, Laramey Knight and LeAnn Knight; two great grandchildren, Megan Hedrick and Briley Manibusan; and several other relative.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, from the Satilla Baptist Church with the Rev. R.C. Mathis and Dr. Reggie Herrin officiating.

Interment followed in the Hortense Cemetery.
