Darline Constance Jenkins Coonradt went to join her husband of 60 years. She passed away peacefully on February 4, 2009.

Born November 15, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Olga Dahlquist Jenkins and N. Ralph Jenkins.

Married Danforth Joy Coonradt Jr. on November 25, 1946. She worked in the early part of marriage, but most of the rest of her life she was a homemaker. She really enjoyed being an 'Avon Lady'. She attended Granite High and West High, where she met her husband. When she was in her early 30's she worked hard and was proud to receive her GED.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking , knitting, crocheting and poetry, even writing a few poems herself. She also enjoyed family activities, such as skiing, boating, waterskiing, and camping, particularly at their cabin and property. She loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Christine, her parents , her sisters (Dorothy Christensen, Vera Jones, and Lorna Oviatt) and her brother Frank. She is survived by her children Connie (Kelly) Buckley, Mary Lynn (Gary) Steed, Ann (Craig) Lott, Pam (Kirk) Leaming, and Steve (Ginger) Coonradt, 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Evelyn Barlow and Elna Berlin. She was very loved and will be missed.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highand Drive. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Wasatch Lawn, with a viewing one hour prior to the services.
