Shirley A. Dillon, 80, of Vail died Saturday at Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone.

She was born in Tyrone, daughter of Claude and Annie Bliss (Newman) Estright. On May 31, 1947, in Cumberland, Md., she married Shirl A. Dillon Jr. He died March 31, 2008.

Surviving are two sons: Shirl A. III and wife, Catherine, of Tyrone RD 3 and Ronald A. and friend, Dan Wilson, of Weehawken, N.J.; a granddaughter, Jeanna Dillon and friend, Jen Bamford, of Harleysville; a stepgranddaughter, Donna James of Kenhorst; two stepgreat-grandchildren: Sarah and Dillon James; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the last of her immediate family, being preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Dillon was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone, Tyrone Order of the Eastern Star No. 288 and a 46-year member of the Bald Eagle Grange.

She had been employed at Big Yank, Tyrone, for 12 years and formerly as a waitress at Annie's Place, Bald Eagle.

She was an avid bowler.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at Feller Funeral Home, Tyrone, where a funeral service will be held at noon Thursday with the Rev. Dr. Susan L. Halverstadt officiating. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery.
