Funeral for Beverly E. Barriger, 51, of East Indiana 46 will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Edward Bennett officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shelby Cemetery in Versailles.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Barriger died at 9:36 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A 1965 graduate of Hauser High School, she had been employed at the former 3-D Department Store. She attended Free Methodist Church.
Born in Columbus Sept. 28, 1947, Mrs. Barriger was the daughter of Reba D. Nickerson Gray of Columbus and the late William J. Fiesbeck. She married Fred A. Martin June 14, 1966. He died July 4, 1986. She married Donald L. Barriger Jr. Jan. 1, 1987. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Lorena A. Hamm of Columbus; a stepson, Raymond E. Barriger of Phoenix; a stepdaughter, Kathi Lee Barriger of Columbus; a brother, Ronnie L. Fiesbeck of Hope; a sister, Brenda Gamel of Las Vegas; and granddaughters, Stacie A. and Tara L. Hamm and Jade Barriger, all of Columbus.
