Cathy was the daughter of Hoyt Laben & Mary Lodisa Sayre. She had 11 siblings - Hoyt Jr., Angie, Eileen, Marcy, Marilyn, Imy, Dewayne, David, Ted, Everette, and Gary Phillip who died in infancy. She married Ershel Riffle in November 1946. She had 5 children - Mary, Ershel, Leroy, Darlene & Denise. At the time of her death she had 6 grandchildren & 1 great-grandson. She now has 7 grandchildren - Travis, Aaron, Rachel, Anthony, Zachary, Callie, & Briana; she has 4 great-grandchildren - Seth, Holden, Sadie, & Megan.
