Bobby Joe Morris entered into eternal rest January 27, 2009.

He was a son of the late John Marion Morris and Elizabeth Sports Morris.

Bobby Joe was a retired employee of Coastal Wire Co. and the former co-owner of Morris Grocery Store. He was a member of Gourdine's Chapel.

He is survived by his wife, Myra P. Morris of Andrews; a son, John William Morris and wife Carla of Andrews; four daughters, Terri M. Davis and husband Tony, Debbie M. Blake and husband Burness, and Wendy M. Phillips, all of Andrews, and Sheryl M. Hall and husband Ron of Newbury Park, CA; three brothers, Ollie Morris and Eddie Morris, both of Andrews, and Laurie Morris of Hemingway; two sisters, Lydia Mae Gambone of Bakersfield, CA and Leola M. Altman of Georgetown; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife of forty-one years, Nancy Dunahoe Morris; and four brothers, Seva Morris, William James "Bub" Morris, Marion Morris, and Maylon Morris.
