WILSON, Noreen Nisbet, was born August 15, 1922, in Montreal, Canada to Scottish parents, John Clyde Irvine and Kate Doreen Irvine. She was raised in Connecticut and Glasgow, Scotland, the eldest of 4 siblings. She served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II. After the war she came to the USA, married, had 4 children, moved to Palmdale in 1968, and worked at Lockheed Corp. She passed away at home in Palmdale on Jan. 16, 2009. She valued kindness, living, peace andenjoyed reading, gardening, camaraderie and travels. She is survived by daughters, Anne Noreen Vallely (Timothy), Valerie Kate Wilson (Steven Farrell), grandchildren, Brittany, Dova, and Matthew, sisters-in-law, Marion Joan Irvine, Bonita G. Irvine and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Our dear Noreen was preceded in death by husband, Robert Louis Wilson Jr., and daughters Chrisitine Anne Wilson and Roberta Louise Wilson. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary. Interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
