Trudy A. Hilty, age 73, of Woodville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at her residence. On June 15, 1935, she was born in Fremont, OH to Alpha and Gertrude (Gallagher) Beatty. In Fremont, OH she married Richard W. Hilty on July 31, 1982, and he survives. After 18 years of employment for Martin Marietta, Woodville, OH, as a traffic manager she retired in 1992. She was a member of Woodville United Methodist Church, Woodville, OH, its Women's Group and helped with many church meals. Trudy volunteered and did office work for Hospice of Memorial Hospital, Fremont, OH, volunteered at the Woodville Food Pantry and also cooked for Oak Openings Toledo Metro Parks. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Surviving Trudy are her husband, Richard Hilty of Manor of Perrysburg; sons, Edward (Sheila) Ehrsam of Summerfield, FL, Joel Ehrsam of Woodville, OH; daughter, Amy (Chris) Stonerock of Woodville, OH; step son, Craig Hilty of Fremont, OH; step daughter, Amy McDaniel of Cincinnati, OH; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sister, Pamela (Charles) Gruber of Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by his parents, Alpha and Gertrude Beatty and brother, Daniel Beatty. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Woodville United Methodist Church, Woodville, OH, where there will be additional visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Rev. Judith Frank. Interment will be in Eisenhour Cemetery, Pemberville, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon held at the church immediately following the committal services.
