Henry A. Silsby
Henry A. Silsby died at his home on Lincoln Park, Wednesday, Dec. 9th, 1891, aged 72 years and 5 months, of Brights Disease. Funeral occurred from the late residence Thursday afternoon. Mr. Silsby came to Canon a number of years ago and commenced the practice of medicine, afterwards removing to Silver Cliff, where he continued in his profession. A few years ago he became interested in the fire clay deposits north of town and has been devoting all of his attention to that matter. His efforts were not crowned with success, but being a man of unusual pluck and energy he did not despair and at the time of his death was engaged in a project to handle the clay. His death was very unexpected, as he has appeared to be in his usual good health lately.
