Clara Blazejewski, 90, Strandquist, MN, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Northwest Medical Center CNC Unit.
Clara Antoinette Borowicz was born on August 31, 1916 in Nelson Park Twp., Marshall County, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Waszak) Borowicz. She was a life long resident of Marshall County. She attended country school. On January 11, 1938, she was united in marriage to Florian Blazejewski at the Assumption Church of Florian. They made their home in Wright Twp., Marshall County, MN where they farmed. Clara was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Florian died on July 7, 1989.
She was a member of Assumption Church of Florian, Assumption Ladies of Florian and Polish National Alliance Lodge 3060.
Clara liked working on the farm and with the dairy animals. She relaxed by playing cards, bingo and going for drives around the neighborhood. Clara especially enjoyed watching the achievements and accomplishments of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to mourn her passing are her three children, Barbara (DeWayne) Banaszewski of Roseau, MN, Robert (Janice) Blazejewski of Strandquist, MN and Mary (Evald) Kujava of Strandquist, MN, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sister Lorraine (Floyd) Olson of Downers Grove, IL, sisters-in-law, Mary Borowicz, Isabel Borowicz, Ida Blaze and Bernice Blazejewski, brother-in-law, Ludvig Blazejewski and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Geneveive and Eleanor and brothers, Harry, Louis and August.
