Evans Mills Woman, Aged 25, Dies at City Hospital
Mrs. Nina Lortscher, aged 25 years, wife of Earl G. Lortscher of Evans Mills, died at the City hospital this morning. On Saturday Mrs. Lortscher underwent a Caesarian operation from which she did not recover.
Funeral services will be held at the home in Evans Mills Thursday afternoon at 2. Rev. W. H. McCurdy, pastor of the Evans Mills Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Evans Mills cemetery.
Mrs. Lortscher was born in Louisville, St. Lawrence county, the daughter of Alvin and Jennie Washburn. She had lived at Evans Mills about four years.
Surviving besides her husband is an infant daughter, Carol Jean
