Mrs. Grover Barrick
Mrs. S. Elizabeth Barrick, wife of Grover C. Barrick, RD, Shermans Dale, died at her home on Saturday night. She was 78 years old.
She was a member of the Mt. Gilead Methodist Church, the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church, and the Carroll Township Women's Christian Temperance Union.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sisters (sic), Mrs. Ernst Crum, Mrs. Raymond Kitner and Mrs. Robert Morris, all of RD, Shermans Dale; a brother, Ray Gutshall, Carlisle; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Grosz, Chambersburg; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Clemens Funeral Home, West Main Street, New Bloomfield. The Rev. Jay A. Saxe, pastor of the Mt. Gilead Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call today after 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
