Daughter of (Michal) William Williams and Julia Adeline Penn.

She first married about 1864, in New York, to a Mr. [unknown] Wiggins and had three sons, all whom died in infancy. Their names were recorded as: Jeremiah, William, and George, the last dying 8 May 1868.

She married (2) widower, Gordon Allen, 19 November 1873 at Fair Haven, Rutland, Vermont. Her Vermont Vital Record Marriage Card names her "Margaret Wiggins" and that the 1873 marriage is her "2nd". (He was 30 years older than she and had 4 children born 35/40 years previously).
