Mr. Munsinger passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in Jacksonville, Texas.
He was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Elkhart, Texas.
Mr. Munsinger was employed in the construction industry, was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Maydelle and pastored area churches for over 57 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Charlie Munsinger; mother, Lula Belle Taylor; and twins, Aleen and Frances.
Mr. Munsinger is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred L. Sides Munsinger; sons, Anthony Munsinger and wife Peggy, Albert Munsinger and wife Christie, Phillip Munsinger and wife Dusty; daughter, Jane Whitten and husband Jim; sisters, Alice Dobbs, and Audry Mae Higgenbotham; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include Robert Gholson, Odis Chapman, Robert Luce, Dwain Modisette, Tom Keith, Brian Bridges, Bobby Tosh and Tom Ball.
Honorary pallbearers will include area Baptist ministers.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
The family requests that memorials may be made to Romanian Women's Shelter and Emmanuel House.
