Maggie was a daughter of Alvin B. Miller and Effie Pinkston of Kiowa County, Kansas, who are buried there in Fairview Cemetery in the town of Greensburg.

Maggie was married (1) to Myron Kimberly. They divorced in late 1937. Children; Billy Gean Kimberly, Betty Jane Kimberly, Ronald Wayne Kimberly.

Maggie was married (2) on Mar. 19, 1938 to Reas Axtell (1906-1989).

(Obit) Funeral services for Mrs. Reas Axtell of Paonia, (Colorado), 46, who passed away unexpectantly, shortly after noon on Monday, Dec. 30, 1957, were held Jan. 3, at the Crawford Community Church with the Rev. Mrs. Mary Bond officiating. Interment was in the Crawford Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Pat Conkle, Clint Driscol, Oscar Linman, Olaf Linman, Oscar Rice and Lon Reynolds. Although she had been in ill health for several years, her death came as a shock to her family and friends.
Maggie May (Peggy) Miller was born Dec. 24, 1911 at Greensburg, Kansas, a daughter of A. B. and Effie Miller. A resident of Colorado since 1932, she came to Paonia 12 years ago. Her marriage to Reas took place on March 19, 1938.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Axtell is survived by six children; Billy Gene Kimberly of Los Angeles, Calif., Ronald Wayne Kimberly of Paonia, Betty Jane Webster of Protection, Kansas, Helen Glenna Rowley of Goodland, Kansas, Donald Axtell of Delta, and Betty Lou Benedict of Spokane.
