Services for Joe Dillard were held in the Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour. Interment was in the original cemetery. Mr. Dillard came to Texas at an early age and had lived in Seymour for the past 30 years. He owned his little home near the Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Dillard was a veteran of World War I. He had never recovered from the impairment of his health in that war. Mr. Dillard never married, and the only immediate survivor is a brother - Tom Dillard.
