Funeral services were held from the Block Funeral Home Saturday afternoon for Richard Frank Adams, 7-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Adams, Jr., of the Manzanita district. Death of the boy occurred early Friday at an Oroville hospital, resulting from a ruptured appendix. Rev. Moon preached an appropriate sermon and sacred songs were sung by Mrs. W.H. Block. Interment occurred in the Gridley-Biggs cemetery. Casket-bearers were John Smith, D. Bancroft, Clarence Detling and Willard Adams.
