Born Aug. 13, 1924, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Clarence Cecil and Lorene Grace Reed Sutton, she was a member of Barnes Ridge Baptist Church. She was a licensed practical nurse at Missouri Delta Medical Center, retiring in 1986.
On Feb. 25, 1940, near Doniphan, she married Cecil Beeson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Sherri and Charles Beeson and Cleo and Peggy Beeson; one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rev. Ernie Kight; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Margaret Sutton; eight grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services were conducted. The Rev. Tom McCanless, pastor of Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church, officiated.
Burial followed in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
